Asmir Begovic

Goalkeeper Asmir boasts the distinction of playing in England, Belgium, Azerbaijan and with Italian giants AC Milan.

Asmir won 63 caps with Bosnia and Herzegovina, captaining his country and helping them qualify for the 2014 World Cup - their first major tournament. He remains a fans favourite with the likes of Stoke - where in 2013 he became just the fifth goalkeeper to score a goal in the Premier League. His 97.5 yard goal against Southampton after 13 seconds also earned him a place in the record books for the longest goal scored in football.’ He went on to impress for the likes of Bournemouth, Chelsea and QPR and has signed for a second spell with Everton. The multi-lingual Asmir is also fluent in German.
